A one-day event with workshops, harp ensemble rehearsals, and a final concert featuring the premiere of a newly commissioned Harp Jam* harp ensemble work by Julia Kay Jamieson! For all ages and levels. Gather together in Champaign-Urbana to inspire your inner artist and creativity in community with Ann Yeung and Julia Kay Jamieson!

Activities include workshops with Ann Yeung and Julia Kay Jamieson on inspiring your own style and voice to music “off the page” with ideas you can use on your own or with friends.

9:30-10:00 AM – Arrival and Introductions | School of Music Auditorium

10:00-11:30 AM – Opening Session/Harp Ensemble Rehearsal

11:30AM-1:00PM – Free Exploration Time/Lunch on Your Own

1:00-1:45PM – Second Session/Workshop

2:00-2:45 PM – Third Session/Workshop

3:00-4:00 PM  – Fourth Session/Harp Ensemble Rehearsal

5:00 PM – Closing Session/Final Concert Harp Jam Premiere

Concert is free and open to the public.

Directions and Parking

• Sessions will take place in the School of Music Auditorium
• Parking meters around the School of Music and parking inside the Krannert decks is free and open to the public on Saturdays.
• From any parking area, make your way to the South Entrance of the School of Music.
• Enter the Music Building Auditorium.
• Check-in will on the lower lever/stage of the School of Music Auditorium
