Program Description

Designed for junior high string students, the primary focus of this program is developing individual musicianship through a large ensemble setting. Classes include full ensemble and sectional rehearsals, masterclasses, and elective courses.

Junior Orchestra is a strings-only ensemble. Wind and percussion students must sign up for Junior Concert Band.

Eligibility

For students completing grades 5 – 8.

Costs

Resident – $725 (includes housing and all meals Sunday dinner through Friday breakfast)
Commuter – $525 (includes Sunday dinner and lunch Monday through Thursday)

Commuters are encouraged to stay on campus to participate in evening activities.
A Monday through Thursday dinner package ($68) can be purchased ion the first day of camp during registration on Sunday.
