Women's Glee Club

The Women’s Glee Club (WGC) is the premier treble choir at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The choir performs a wide variety of repertoire chosen from all periods and styles of Western art music as well as works from other cultures and languages. Membership is by audition and is open to all Illinois students looking to sing a soprano or alto voice part. This treble ensemble regularly performs major choral works with University of Illinois choir, band, and orchestra ensembles. Past appearances include divisional and national choir conferences, plus frequent regional tours. The Women’s Glee Club is conducted by Dr. Andrea Solya.
